A bond with our land
The bond that we have with our land is enshrined in the place where our winery has always stood: the amphitheatre of the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, crossed by the “Prosecco and Wine Trail of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene hills”, surrounded by the two areas that give “DOC” and DOCG” status (“Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin”) to Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco, which is what brings our leading products together. Our winery is located at the foot of these stunningly steep hills, just 50km from Venice and not far from the Dolomite mountains.
In Prosecco-growing areas, we work in an environmentally friendly way, respecting the vines that have turned our hills into such a unique landscape, able to give unique and unmistakeable notes to each bunch of grapes.
Our grapes grow on vines situated in different areas in the province of Treviso, which allows us to achieve a varied and diversified production which always represents our land. Each bottle reflects its local area, starting from our Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, through to our Asolo Prosecco DOCG and Prosecco DOC Treviso, right through to our still DOC wines from the Venezie region, coming from the areas around the Montello hill.
-
Soligo
This area is home to our winery. The rock just under the surface of the ground and the currents of air that come from the pre-Alps limit the amount of humidity here, giving our Prosecco a discernible structure and quality.
-
Conegliano
One of the most important areas for the production of DOCG and home to Italy’s oldest school of oenology. The Conegliano hills are mainly made up of clay rock varieties, which distinguish the gentle waves of this landscape.
-
Valdobbiadene
An extremely charming landscape characterised by its substrate of fluvial-glacial material deposited during the time before the last Ice Age. This area produces grapes that make elegant and sophisticated wines.
-
Miane
Its orientation and altitude high up in the hills allow for the natural creation of a favourable ecosystem, with a climate that is perfect for our vineyards, during both the summer and winter. The result is a Prosecco with typical aromas and flavours.
-
Farra di Soligo
The combination of a moderate climate and this ancient land, with its lush and sloping hills made from sedimentary rock, gives our Prosecco Superiore DOCG excellent mineral content, making it stand out for its exclusive fruity and floral aromas.
-
Refrontolo
The environmental and morphological conditions of this area create the perfect habitat to grow vines in a hilly area that is protected from currents of air: a land that is rich in organic and mineral substances that give our wine unique aromatic qualities.
-
Montello and Colli Asolani
The ground around the Montello hill and the Colli Asolani, characterised by a unique, reddish colour, is clayey and full of iron, making it perfect for excellent red wines. This area's unique exposure to the sun, combined with a climate that is dry in the summer and severe in the winter, gives our wines an intense aroma and a dry flavour. Asolo is also an area for the production of Prosecco with “DOCG” status.
-
Piave
The varied composition of the land here, of alluvial origin from the stony bed of the River Piave, is perfect for growing vines. The climate in this area changes very quickly, giving the grapes truly unique aromas and fragrances which create wines with a strong and decisive flavour.
